European project MarLEN, of which MSE International is a partner, has published its first Policy Brief, with recommendations to accelerate decarbonisation of waterborne transport.

The brief summarises findings from the project's first two Mobilisation and Mutual Learning Workshops and other sessions and covers political/regulatory, economic/financial, social/skills and technological/infrastructure themes. 

Key findings include better regulatory alignment, simpler funding (especially for SMEs), targeted skills and reskilling, and closer coordination between EET deployment and port infrastructure. 

This Policy Brief is the first in a phased series.
