CHAIN Business Convention at Seawork 2013 25th - 26th June 2013

WSX Enterprise, through the CHAIN2 project, is hosting a Business Convention at Seawork 2013 International on stand C86.

Seawork International is the largest and fastest growing commercial marine and workboat exhibition to be held in a European working port. Now in its 16th successful year it attracts 450 exhibitors and over 7000 visitors from around the world. Seawork is a 'one stop shop' for buyers and sellers providing access to the commercial marine and workboat markets.

As part of the Business Convention, we are offering a supported programme at the exhibition for businesses based in the South East and South West Regions.

The support includes:

* Companies registered with CHAIN will have their company details circulated amongst the 450 exhibitors
* A presentation on Tuesday 25 June from French Partners in CHAIN "Maritime opportunities in Bretagne and Normandy - How to do business in France"
* 1-2-1 meetings arranged with a range of UK and French businesses held on the CHAIN stand on Wednesday 25 June
* An evening networking event at the Royal Southampton Yacht Club on Wednesday 26 June from 7pm
* Translation services where necessary

Businesses registered so far include:

* Precision mechanics for underwater scientific research
* GPS based timing signal generator for maritime and fluvial traffic lights
* Active hull, propulsion and control technologies for fast craft to enable savings in fuel costs
* Marine, coastal and waterway surveys, testing and sampling
* High speed craft, human factors, support and solutions
