MSE complete marine-related business evaluation of Chichester Harbour
Marine South East, in consultation with the British Marine Federation, has completed a marine-related business evaluation of Chichester Harbour for the Chichester Harbour Consultancy.
Chichester Harbour has been a centre for boat construction and shell fish harvesting for hundreds of years. Today it remains a prime location for leisure marine activities and businesses. The study examined the many factors that determine how the social and commercial marine heritage can best be maintained into the future and how the precious waterfront can best be managed to support that ambition.
The report highlights the potential for growing marine-related business use on sites around the harbour but also highlights the challenges that lie ahead in achieving that growth.
