Business Opportunities on the Type 26 Global Combat Ship Programme 5th July 2011, Bristol

Tuesday 5th July 2011
Marriott Royal Hotel, College Green, Bristol

A seminar and briefing from the Joint MOD/BAE Systems Type 26 Global Combat Ship Project Team to promote the mutual engagement of the maritime industries suppliers network at the earliest stages of the programme.

The Type 26 Global Combat Ship is the cornerstone of the next major UK surface warship building programme that follows the Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carrier programme. It aims to satisfy the Royal Navy's requirements for its next generation of frigates as well as the export market.

The Joint Ministry of Defence/BAE Systems project team is already up and running and wishes to engage with the wider maritime industries supplier network. This seminar/briefing seeks to give all companies operating in the maritime industry, whether as prime-contractors, system houses or SMEs, the opportunity to understand the programme and get involved.

The standard price per delegate is £125 + VAT.

Members of the Society of Maritime Industries benefit from a 20% discount through their membership of the Society and the price for them is £99 + VAT.

A specially discounted price of £55 + VAT is also available to all UK government employees and members of the UK armed forces.

The seminar will be held at the Marriott Royal Hotel in Bristol on Tuesday 5 July 2011 with registration of delegates starting at 0900.

It will be opened at 0930 with a joint keynote introduction by the Ministry of Defence & BAE Systems.
