University of Portsmouth Graduate Internship Programme 2010
Following on from the Government's recent announcement that 7000 paid Graduate Internships would be delivered by 50 Higher Education Institutions in England, the University of Portsmouth have been successful in obtaining funding to provide 90 Graduate Internships over the next 12 months. These Internships, which provide a financial subsidy to an employer, are primarily aimed at SME's in the local area.
The programme is designed to provide valuable employment experience to both the graduate and business and should be a minimum of 12 weeks duration. The Internship will be partially funded through HEFCE at £1200 per graduate.
