Graduate Jobs South offer £1350 to businesses to take on a graduate intern
The universities of Southampton Solent, Southampton and Winchester are
working with Graduate Jobs South http://www.graduatejobsouth.co.uk to provide a
HEFCE-funded graduate internship scheme for Hampshire-based businesses.
The programme aims to provide companies in the region with an opportunity
to target resource at a particular project critical to their business and
allows graduates to develop employability skills in a real world
environment as they seek to build their career.
Host employers will receive £1,350 towards the successful candidate's
salary and internships are for a minimum of 12 weeks in duration. However,
the time period may be adjusted according to the particular business needs
of the hosting company.
GJS and its partner universities will work with host employers throughout
the application process and internship.
