The Skills and Employment Challenge - a business & education leaders’ conference, 3 July 2009

The conference aims to develop a shared understanding of the skills and employment challenge across the City region and will communicate some of the strategies currently being developed.
The conference will also demystify the 14-19 reform to enable business and education practitioners to better understand its principles and the preparation young people need to be "recession proof" and ready to make their contribution in the economic upturn.
Solent Skill Quest is presenting this conference and it will include keynote speeches from Rt Hon John Denham, Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities & Skills and MP for Southampton Itchen and Chris Humphries CBE, Chief Executive, UK Commission for Employment and Skills.
