Welcome to the October issue of email. In this issue we report on some interesting planning issues that have arisen in the past few weeks. These include a step forward with the development of the South East Plan, the regional spatial strategy for our region. Also the Isle of Wight Council has been conducting a Feasibility Study into the establishment of the Solent Ocean Energy Centre - an evaluation and research centre for marine energy technologies on the Isle of Wight.
