Marine South East gains funding for CAD/CAM training
Marine South East has recently gained funding under the 2007/08 SEEDA Training Pools initiative to develop CAD/CAM training. The intention is to work with a number of marine designers, naval architects and superyacht designers within the region who initially identified the need for marine specific technical training.
The training will offer high level skills training for Level 3 and higher and the the leading partner for the development and delivery of these courses will be the Marine Regional Resource Centre (RRC) located in Southampton. It is anticipated that the courses will be modular and tailored to the individual needs of companies with training taking place at the employer's premises or the RRC.
