This second Marenet event to be held in September is looking at the support and expertise that Southampton University can offer marine companies in the South East.
Speakers from the University's Wolfson Unit and Institute of Sound & Vibration Research, will give a presentation on the services and innovation work that they have been undertaking recently. The presentation will include company show cases covering work on America's Cup yacht designs and developments in sound reduction to meet stringent new standards.
The University's breadth of technology support for the marine leisure sector will be presented by Prof Ajit Shenoi. Exact time and venue will be circulated nearer the date - please mark your diaries in the meantime.
