Maritime UK Solent are running a Maritime Roadshow for Girls, a careers event for girls aged 11 - 14 years old between 10am and 2pm on 5th March 2024 at Cowes Enterprise College an Ormiston Academy on the Isle of Wight. They are appealing for women who work in the world of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM), topics that many young women reject early on.

They need women to support speed networking, to bring STEM careers alive for the girls attending. 5 schools are already signed up & there’s space for 100 girls. They are particularly keen to welcome women who work on the Isle of Wight to illustrate the inspiring & interesting jobs and careers that exist on the Island as well as the mainland.
