Dedicated to startups and businesses in the maritime sector, the Narwhal Challenge offers businesses the opportunity to meet with key experts from the Brest marine community.

In 2019 the event hosted 4 startups from the Netherlands, India, Canada and Germany from several sectors including marine acoustics, oil-spill clean up, aquaculture and fisheries. Each of them had the chance to meet with at least 8 companies or labs.

In 2023 the opportunity is:

• Bespoke bilateral meetings with businesses and researchers
• Visits to research and test infrastructures in Finistere
• Company pitch during the 4th General Assembly meeting
• On-site costs will be covered (catered & accomodation for 4 nights)

Applications are required by 8th September 2023 with the event taking place in December 2023.
