MSE International’s EO4MI project has launched a dedicated project website, providing a central hub for businesses and stakeholders to explore its aims and objectives. The platform also offers opportunities to engage proactively in upcoming collaborations and future funding calls focused on developing technologies and services that unlock the full potential of Earth Observation (EO) for a sustainable Blue Economy.

EO4MI has been developed by MSE International in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA). The project has been exploring the application of EO across key sectors, including enhanced metocean forecasting to support safer maritime operations, and improved EO-based monitoring of blue carbon habitats.

More recently, MSE International hosted a dedicated EO4MI webinar, bringing together over 60 registered delegates from 18 countries across four continents. The session highlighted how EO is enabling a smarter and more resilient Blue Economy.

Presentations covered a wide range of topics, including advanced information services, the integration of artificial intelligence with satellite data, coastal and intertidal mapping, enhanced metocean intelligence, remote marine monitoring, and the growing role of autonomous surface vessels.

The webinar also looked ahead to the EO4MI roadmap and future collaboration pathways, with the launch of the new website representing a key milestone in driving the project forward. Click here to download a copy of the webinar presentations.
