MarRI-UK and Port of Tyne are hosting this UK Maritime Research and Technology Roadmap Workshop , giving organisations the opportunity to input into the future of maritime innovation across key technology areas and operational priorities, with a focus on Ports and Infrastructure at this session.

The event will be held on 12th November 2025, 1300-1600 at Port of Tyne's Innovation Hub, Tyne Dock, South Shields, NE34 9PT.

The workshop will provide the opportunity to:

• Contribute to the development of the UK Maritime Research and Technology Roadmap across priority areas including autonomy, digitalisation, clean propulsion & fuels, infrastructure and ports, and shipbuilding: design & build.

• Engage with industry experts, researchers, and stakeholders shaping the future of UK maritime technology and operations.

• Network with peers and share insights on emerging challenges and opportunities across the maritime sector.
