Future Fuels Safety Event; 4th December 2025, Cumbria
Experience the Power of Safety Innovation at DNV Spadeadam
Join this event for an exclusive day of hands-on learning at DNV Spadeadam, the world-renowned centre for industrial safety and hydrogen innovation. This unique programme explores the safety and assurance cases for clean maritime fuels through live demonstrations and expert-led discussions.
Witness dramatic demonstrations—including a Pool and Large Jet Fire and a Hydrogen Detonation—that bring to life the behaviours of alternative fuels in a safe, controlled environment.
The agenda features panels and presentations led by Professor Tony Roskilly (Clean Maritime Research Hub), with contributions from Babcock LGE, BMT, DNV, Carisbrooke Shipping, the Clean Maritime Research Hub, the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) and the Health & Safety Executive (subject to change).
